After you sign up, you'll get a welcome email with everything you need. This page walks through what to do with it. Two steps, no software to install.
You'll need:
1. The welcome email from esramirez@gmail.com (subject: "Your Flip Intel API key") — check spam if you don't see it.
2. A Claude.ai account (free or paid; the connector works on both).
3. Your eBay seller account password handy for one OAuth screen.
In your welcome email, click the big "Connect eBay Store →" button. It'll take you to eBay's official authorization page.
On eBay's page:
You'll land on a Flip Intel success page that says "Your eBay store is connected!" — that's your confirmation.
Easiest way: open Claude.ai's "Add custom connector" form directly — one click opens the form. (You'll need to be signed in at claude.ai.)

Claude will ask for four values. Grab them from the table in your welcome email and paste each one in:

"Connection issue — Connection has expired. You can reconnect to re-authenticate."
That's expected on the first add — Claude doesn't have your API key yet. Click Connect on that panel.
A Flip Intel sign-in page opens. Paste the API key from the bottom of your welcome email (it starts with ebay_) and click Connect.
Confirm the right account. The next page shows the email address your API key is tied to and whether your eBay store is connected. Check both look right, then click Continue to Claude. If the email is wrong, you may have entered an API key from a different account — go back and use the one from this welcome email.
Open a new chat in Claude and ask one of these:
Claude will use the Flip Intel connector to pull the answer from your store. The first response takes a few seconds while it fetches; follow-up questions are faster.
Claude says "no active eBay account linked"
You connected the Claude connector but probably skipped Step 1 (the eBay OAuth). Go back to your welcome email and click Connect eBay Store first, then try the Claude question again.
"That API key wasn't recognized" on the Flip Intel sign-in page
Double-check you're pasting the API key from the welcome email, not the OAuth Client ID. It starts with ebay_. If it still fails, email us and we'll issue a fresh key.
I can't find the "Add custom connector" form
Use the direct link: claude.ai/customize/connectors?modal=add-custom-connector. Make sure you're signed in at claude.ai in a browser (not the desktop or mobile app — custom connectors are web-only).
The OAuth Client Secret got rejected
Watch for trailing spaces or stray newlines when copy-pasting from the email. Re-copy it carefully and try again.
My welcome email never arrived
Check spam first — Gmail occasionally puts new-vendor emails there. If it's not there, email esramirez@gmail.com with the address you used at checkout and we'll re-send it.
Something else is broken
Email esramirez@gmail.com describing what you tried and what happened. Real human reply, usually within a business day.
